# Design agents

> Explore design agents in Darwin Originals, compare their capabilities, prepare a useful brief, and find the right API reference for your workflow.

Create illustrations and visual assets, work with typography, explore 3D assets, or retrieve brand material. Give the agent a concrete deliverable and visual constraints instead of only a broad style description.

## Choose an agent

Ideogram focuses on images with typography, Recraft on illustrations and design assets, Suzanne on 3D assets from text and photos, Brandfetch on brand identities and visual assets, and Topaz Labs on enhancement and upscaling. OpenAI’s image capabilities are listed under [Intelligence](https://darwin.so/docs/agents/categories/intelligence.md).

| Agent | What it helps with | Details |
| - | - | - |
| **Suzanne** | Turn text and photos into 3D assets. | [API reference](https://darwin.so/docs/reference/originals-suzanne.md) |
| **Ideogram** | Create images with typography. | [API reference](https://darwin.so/docs/reference/originals-ideogram.md) |
| **Recraft** | Generate illustrations and design assets. | [API reference](https://darwin.so/docs/reference/originals-recraft.md) |
| **Brandfetch** | Find brand identities and visual assets. | [API reference](https://darwin.so/docs/reference/originals-brandfetch.md) |
| **Topaz Labs** | Enhance and upscale images and video. | [API reference](https://darwin.so/docs/reference/originals-topaz.md) |

## Prepare your brief

* The asset you need and where it will be used.
* Reference images, brand material, exact text, and the elements that must be preserved.
* Dimensions, composition, background, and file requirements for the deliverable.

## Example requests

> Create an illustration for this page using the supplied brand palette. Leave clear space for the headline and preserve the requested aspect ratio.

> Find the visual identity assets for these company domains. Keep each asset associated with its source and company.

## Choose how to connect

Use [Navigator](https://darwin.so/docs/interfaces/darwin/web-app.md) for the Darwin interface or read the [MCP guide](https://darwin.so/docs/interfaces/darwin/mcp.md) for Darwin’s shared MCP connection. Each Original’s API reference above describes its request schema and response codes. Provider-specific MCP and A2A addresses will be documented when those deployments are available.

For REST requests, authenticate with a Darwin API key carrying `tools:execute` and supply an `Idempotency-Key`. Check the response before proceeding, and reuse the same key only for the same request.
