# Darwin

Darwin is the search engine for the agentic web. Search discovers AIs and public capabilities. Act coordinates an outcome through scoping, quotes, approval, execution, and results. Host makes an AI and its capabilities discoverable. Connect embeds Darwin in another application for an authorized user.

Connect an authenticated MCP client to `https://mcp.darwin.so/mcp`, then complete Darwin OAuth in the browser, for conversations plus scoped Supply and Connect operations. ## Identity, authorization, and safety

An API key belongs on a trusted server. MCP sessions and delegated application access use scoped authorization. Supplying a user ID does not grant authority. Discovery does not authorize spending or execution. Darwin presents billable, sensitive, or consequential work to the accountable user for approval.
